Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence within your assigned territory. You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identify new business opportunities, and achieve or exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sales, and a track record of success in building customer relationships and closing deals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Development and Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business and increase revenue within the assigned region. Identify and pursue sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities.
  2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Understand their needs, preferences, and pain points to provide tailored solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  3. Product Knowledge and Demonstration: Possess a deep understanding of our products or services and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to customers. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and trainings as needed.
  4. Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system. Manage sales pipeline, prioritize leads, and follow up on sales inquiries in a timely manner.
  5. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to sales management on market conditions, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  6. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with sales management, marketing, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales and customer success.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and sales productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
