New Business Development Manager

The new Business Development Manager-Industrial Markets will play a key role in driving the growth of our business by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and managing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify New Business opportunities: Research and identify new markets, growth areas, trends, and opportunities to expand our industrial identification business.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development. Work closely with the R&D team to bring new products to market.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to foster new business opportunities.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships for new markets that align with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Create Growth Strategies: Develop and present for approval to senior leadership business development plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align business strategies and achieve targets.
  • Conduct Market Research: Analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
  • Lead Client Presentations and Proposals: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Monitor and Report Performance: Track and report on business development activities, providing regular updates to senior leadership.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marketing, or a related field. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of identifying new markets that lead to growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
