Barcode Readers for Heavy Industry
The invention of barcodes introduced a fast and accurate means of collecting product data in the manufacturing process. However, historically there was no practical way to accomplish barcode reading at a distance. InfoSight accepted this challenge, and we designed our own barcode readers to add another element of efficiency to our customers’ operations. Barcode readers from InfoSight can read from carriers or cranes to track materials from casting to stocking to rolling.
OptiCode® Smart-Camera Barcode Reader
This compact industrial reading system is designed for high-speed and/or long-distance reading of industry standard and custom barcodes.

OptiCode® Vision Barcode Reader
This reader uses a standard CCD shutter camera to read barcodes beyond the range of laser scanners. The system’s video monitor can also be used to assist an operator in positioning the camera using an optional pan/tilt/zoom mechanism.
